Hi everyone,

I am writing an essay for my foundation degree on the public's opinion of the SBT breed. I am trying to gather information and opinions to back up that staffies are NOT a bad breed. If anyone who has or has had a staffy could fill in this short questionnaire for me then I would be very grateful! Smile

Everything is confidential (no names will be used) and please feel free to be as honest as possible.

2. What is your age?

3. Has your SBT ever been involved in an aggressive incident?

4. Would you describe SBTs as;
a. gentle or aggressive?
b. calm or highly strung?
c. cute or unappealing?

5. Do you like the breed?

6. Do you think the negative opinion of the breed is justified?

7. Have you ever experienced negative behaviour from strangers towards you and your dog? (e.g. not letting their dog interact/play with your dog?)

4. Would you describe SBTs as;
a. gentle or aggressive?
b. calm or highly strung?
c. cute or unappealing? Cute

I can't answer the first two, because they are far too general.

5. Do you like the breed? Yes

6. Do you think the negative opinion of the breed is justified? Not on the whole

7. Have you ever experienced negative behaviour from strangers towards you and your dog? (e.g. not letting their dog interact/play with your dog?) Yes

Been asked to introduce myself...Okay I'm 23 years old and from South Wales. I'm married and have 19 pets...unfortunately none of those are dogs as we have no garden and a fairly small house!

I love all dog breeds and I think (as mentioned in my original post) that SBTs get a really rough deal. I used to work at a boarding kennels and 99% of the staffies I came across there were wonderful dogs Smile
