new staffy owners

Hi, We have just become the owners of a puppy staff called Taz.he's a 7 week old Brindle colour.we got him at 6 weeks because he was on puppy food he is getting on really well with the kids and other dog that we have.i have posted pictures on here and will be posting lots more...

Puppies at this age are usually still with Mum, learning all the stuff puppies do.
It's great that you have a dog already, so you will know to look out for any problems.

However, other owners of such young pups may not be so lucky - they may not understand that the little ones can have problems, and the rescue centres are full of 'problem' dogs.

It would be a good idea for you to drop a line to the RSPCA to let them know that you have a young dog, and tell them where you got it; that way if any of his brothers and sisters are taken into a rescue centre in the future, the rescue centre may have a better idea of what problems the dog may have (socialising and reading body language is probably the biggest issue).
