Staffy "scream"

When your dog yawns do they make any weird noises? Sometimes Ebony will growl/grumble when she shuts her mouth, but Charlie screams like a grown woman mid yawn when he stretches it's so funny, I'll have to get a video

(P.s. He's not in any pain so don't worry )

LOL ive heard other dogs make funny noises when they yawn yes but not my own yet.

Yes I think I know what you mean with the yawning noise, Rocky does it in the car when we are nearly at the park and he is excited about getting there. It's sort of like a shreaking/screaming kind of noise, if anyone else was to hear it I'm sure they would think someone was being murdered in the car  

Yep darcy does the grown woman scream yawn too

yeap sash does the excited yawn bit,normally just as we're putting her lead on,they are silly billies

When Nicos very excited and playing he makes a screaming noise, I was stunned first time I heard it!! He's usually more grumble and grunty in general

lexi generally communicates with me in growls , she does it a lot when im in from work and usually approaches me toy in mouth growling at me , she also has been trained not to bark for treats , she lets out a little `mmmmm` when saying please lol

oh, I know that sound! It is a happy yawn for Frosty.

Bacchus does it every morning until we go out for our morning walk. Annoys the hell out of the OH who is trying to have a lie in. 

Axl does it, usually when we have stopped to talk to someone on a walk, he hates waiting he'll yawn/scream, stamp his feet, whine and generally get on my nerves until I have to move to get some peace lol

Lola makes a funny noise when she yawns, it sounds like 'yeeeeowk'   She makes a lot of strange noises.

Yes Louby does it - we call it her attention seeking yawn....Like if we have a visitor and they are funny about dogs jumping all over them, then we put her in her crate for a bit, she does the attention seeking yawn as if to say 'im still here you know'...

Yes Vin does it sometimes, a right screamer  

oh yes! and she cries when we're outside the gate and ignoring her!
