Hi, I'm a bit worried about my dog he is 2 years old and has started huffing when he is told to do something. He is also trying to make eye contact with me. He goes to a daycare when me and my boyfriend are at work all day so he is getting loads of exercise but she said he has been acting different latterly. He has changed a little bit since the firework started going off is there anything to be worried about

He's probably just been a bit unsettled by the fireworks.

Dogs can see eye contact as a challenge with another dog, have a look at the link below, it may help:

If he was a kid who could speak, you would obviously ask him how he's getting on at his daycare. Is there anything you dont know about? How is he acting differently - can they be specific? Would it be possible to quietly slip back in for half an hour after he's been dropped off, for you to observe how he's interacting with the other dogs? A fly on the wall moment? Is he neutered?
