Now I know that changing foods can upset a dog's tummy & we have to do it gradually. But now Katy has turned 1 i'm planning to put her on to big girls food as we are running low on puppy. She is on wainwrights puppy & I want to just change to adult wainwrights do I still need to introduce it gradually?

Yes, I'd probably do it gradually as well.

i tried this exact same thing and it worked out badly.

Cass too was on wainwrights puppy food, i changed him to adult at 12 months and his body just couldn't take to it. i tried to slowly introduce it and he just couldn't hold it in, which is very unusual for him, he never goes to the toilet indoors.
maybe it's too rich, i don't know, but the adult wainwrights just didn't agree with him so i took him off it.

Moved your post to Staffy Dog Food.

Any change of food should be done gradually over the course of 7 - 10 days.

Steviec - It could have been the food was to rich for your dog.
