Good treat ideas for Staffy pup
Good morning all, I'm taking my Zara to puppy training classes next Saturday. The trainer has advised I bring lots of treats. Could anyone recommend good treats that will keep her happy and are tasty and wholesome
Thanks from Sarah and Zara

I would be interested in this too. Cooked chicken chopped up into bite size pieces is fab, and also cheese goes down very well. Thats what I used for Jasmines class. The trainer used liver cake too, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I think there is a recipe for that on the forum somewhere??

Try to take something that is tasty and a high value treat, I agree with cheese, just cut it up into very small pieces. Good luck

Re: Good treat ideas for Staffy pup
Hot dog sausage is really good, and you can heat it up a little to make it REALLY smelly. Cheese is high in fat so our trainers don't recommend it but for using in training class once a week I'm sure it's fine.
We use liver cake for Bruno. They sell bags of it for £1 at our class so we always buy two bags (they have to limit it to two each or it gets sold out too quickly) and use one at class and keep one for home!
