I'm so glad Dempsey isn't worried by them. I'd have hated to go through what we did with Bandit - it was a nightmare every year.

It's awful. With Bandit I just felt like going out & hosing all the firework parties down with a high pressure hose.

We used to get tablets from the vet to sedate him.

The fireworks have hardly let up since Hallowe'en here.
Just checked in on my two and they're asleep in their crates, unbothered by them. Thankfully.

my 2 haven't batted an eyelid and fireworks are erupting left, right and centre - all the cats are in cupboards - do you think the dogs could be hard of hearing?? (and that's why they're not trained yet) Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

Tommy got unsettled on his walk so Jen brought him home and just took Tilly , she's not bothered at all . At the moment Tommy is going through a scared of sounds phase , food hitting his tin bowl , squeaker in his ball and now the fireworks that never bothered him last year

You'd think that he'd take his cue from Tilly, wouldn't you?

Ledger wasn't too bad when we were out and about last night but it seems that if he can see what is causing the noise then he isn't too bad. Luckily I'm working tonight so he is staying with my parents out of town as there was a big display planned for the park about a mile from my house

The girls just went in the garden for a wee and the BIGGEST rocket exploded over our heads. We all shot inside, and Chloe jumped into my arms (some achievement to catch all 19kgs of her!!) Gave them lots of treats and they've now gone up to bed (under the covers - haha!!)
