Good deed for the day Empty Good deed for the day

Post by Andy Sat Nov 02 2013, 18:08

Went mountain biking this morn, got back knackered, covered in sh!t, legs shot, just wanted a shower and beans on toast with a mug of coffee Big Grin .. turned into the drive when I got back, to see this little girl trotting down the pavement towards my car on her travels, traffic wizzin by a few feet away, and no owners in sight Surprised

Good deed for the day H1

Good deed for the day H2

Managed to get hold of her collar (no tag!) and get a strap outa the car to tie her to summut so I could get the car in, and pop in to get one of Max's leads (he went mental ... A. cus I just got home, B. cus I picked his lead up, and C. cus he could smell him some biatch doh )

So stood outside, p!ssin down, nobody home, with a Sibe Husky thinkin ... what do I do now Laughing
After a few phone calls, and an hour or so in the garage waiting for help of some sort, the DW finally came, scanned her, found a chip whew! .. and off they went Big Grin

Beans on toast never tasted so good drooling

Well done mate your a star! When will people learn not to off lead sibes unless she escaped which is quite possible.
Most people would have looked the other way and saw it as someone elses problem so qudos to you for taking action mate and big respect from me!

Cheers all, we'd have all done the same on here Smile

I phoned a chap up the road afterward that I've done some 4x4 drivin with in the past (only person I know with Husky's) just in case it was one of his and he was out lookin for her, and unbelievably she wasn't his, but she was his sisters rock on! who lives in a village about 10miles away and she had got out some how !!! Surprised .. now the mileage obviously isn't the thing, but surviving the roads around here is simply amazing !! whew!

Anyway, she's home safe and sound now, and I'm sure she wont be able to escape again after the worry she caused the little bugger Laughing

Mike - that clip is feckin mental Surprised
