I feed her tuna occasionally other than that she just gets brushed! I would never say Moo has a glossy coat. she's the wrong colour if that makes sense?!?

Interesting. I might just have to follow this thread closely too if u don't mind. I always wonder how some peoples dogs have such glossy, healthy looking coats

Sardines in oil are fab, Sky has these once a week. A teaspoon of olive/vegetable oil a day in their food will help too. I'm not sure on tuna, vaguely remember someone telling me not to feed tuna from tins, can't remember why for the life of me Maybe salt content
If you feed a good quality food you shouldn't need Vitapet! A damp chamois leather to rub them down with is also great for their coat

Re: tips for a very glossy coat
Tuna's fine in small amounts, just not an everyday food item.
We use cod liver oil tablets, along with a raw diet, we've noticed Molly's coat looks a lot better than when she was on dry food

Re: tips for a very glossy coat
A lot depends on the coat colour. A white dog won't be as glossy as a red, which won't be as glossy as a dark brindle, which won't be as glossy as a black!
But sardines or mackerel in tomato sauce or oil is good, as is a couple of teaspoons of salmon or cod liver oil on their food a couple of times a week.
