how glossy should their coats be?
i know healthy dogs should have a "shiny, glossy" coat, but can it be too shiny? Lola looks like she's wearing silk in the sunlight sometimes. not really a concern, just a random pondering

certain fur colours do no matter what look shinier then others. White fur i find does not look any where near as shiny as black for example.
But as long as their fur is clean and its not shiny due to being greasy then it's fine

Generally, the darker the fur, the more shiny it is. It's a sign of a nice, healthy dog!

Because of their cute little pink faces when they get too hot, and the baldie bellies.

lola is very very shiny :-) while chloe, cos she's white, doesn't shine as much, but she has 'sparkly bits' if you look closely! (sad that, isn't it - looking closely at my dog's coat)?

Nah, it isn't sad.
Dempsey can be shiny sometimes. Usually on his head and back.

Yer know what you mean with the sparkly bits, Harvey with having a brindle head is really shiny but the rest of him is white so he looks odd
