The bad pics of staffys with the new dog legislation made me want to tell a recent dog walk story
I walked the two dogs as normal with our cat Tilly as normal..... and a couple of cyclist's were heading or way so I had my dogs sitting when they stopped in disbelief at the site of Molly and Tilly sat together . We then had a chat and I explained the cat comes on walks and thinks she's a dog. They complemented Molly on what a fantastic temperament she had and the fact that they couldn't even let there huskys off lead due to there prey drive and lack of manners. Cue Molly trotting over wagging her tail to say hello to both cyclist's. They adored her and kept the compliments flowing until we said goodbye!

yup because idiots are getting them who know nothing of the breed and the requirements to own one. once there house has been shredded and they realize that the dog is challenging them because of there weak leadership they get rid of it. shelters are filling up with them rapidly.

And well done Molly, the more people realise what fantastic dogs staffies are and get over that stigma the better

This may well be the case, rescue centres are already seeing an increase in take-ins of this breed.

Do you have any problems with other dogs on walks with your cat? I am just amazed.  

Tilly is the most dog like cat I've ever known. We met a poodle that was on a flexi lead and it ran at Tilly.... Tilly firmly stood her ground, it was like she wanted to say 'bring it on.... if you think your hard enough' lol the poodle ran away! This also happened with an off lead collie, again cat won. She seems to judge dogs well and runs off into the hedge rows for the dogs that would try to harm her.

Amazing! You've probably posted than before but I would love to see pictures. I am seriously impressed.
