Poppy, 5 year old SBT, Scotland
Poppy is a very pretty dark brindle 5 year old staffie. She is quite a big girl, not boisterous and very affectionate. She adores a cuddle on the sofa. She is calm dog in the home, content with her toys and the sofa !
She enjoys a lovely walk, but can be strong on the lead and can be reactive to other dogs. However this is being worked on and she can be distracted with food and an encouraging word.
She has lived with a very young child for a short period and doesn't appear to be fazed by them. She has spent some further time with some small children in her current foster and doesnt appear to have any difficulties interacting with them.
She travels short distances in the car well and sits on the seat. She can be unsure of new things particularly the vet surgery and was very scared here. She is not aggressive at all, just tries to make herself very small but this can be worked on to help her build confidence.
Poppy would need a home with no other dogs and she hasnt been cat tested needs a cat free home. She could live with young children who know how to behave around dogs.
She is a very pretty girl with lots of love to give. She will be spayed by the rescue and is microchipped and vaccinated.
If you can give this beautiful girl her forever home, please fil out the adoption form on our website - Www.staffordshirerescuescotland.org.uk
