Re: Arise Sir Tommy of Fergiestaffs
Thanks so much everyone , maybe I had a little tiny bit of doubt in what other people said about my boy and was proved wrong. As I said to peeps today I couldn't be a judge as every single one was fantastic and had loads and loads and loads of staffy kisses today including swapping tongues

Put me down for one - I like really big, baggy t shirts, so a large or x large one for me!Dave wrote:

Re: Arise Sir Tommy of Fergiestaffs
If you enter him at Manchester championship show and you get a first place you can still qualify for 2014 Crufts!

Re: Arise Sir Tommy of Fergiestaffs
Too much pressure for my boy Caryll he can't get past nibbling nobbling yet lol . Where do you use as your source of info ??Caryll wrote:If you enter him at Manchester championship show and you get a first place you can still qualify for 2014 Crufts!

Re: Arise Sir Tommy of Fergiestaffs
The shows are advertised in the dog papers (I get Dog World - weekly subscription), but I also get the Kennel Gazette monthly, plus I got used to the show scene in past times!

Re: Arise Sir Tommy of Fergiestaffs
Manchester is the last qualifier for Crufts. It's in January over 4 days (Terriers on Thursday 16th), entries close 6th December by post, 16th December online.
If you're not confident, but you want to enter him, why not ask the breeder if he'll show him for you?

Re: Arise Sir Tommy of Fergiestaffs
Love that he has his tail out! A lot of dogs look terrified with their tails curcled up under. He looks confident and happy

Re: Arise Sir Tommy of Fergiestaffs
Thanks all , think we may be overstepping the mark expecting such big things of him so I am happy to settle for the smaller shows for the moment , still a spring chicken and plenty of life in the young dog yet . May mention it to breeder though and see what he thinks

Re: Arise Sir Tommy of Fergiestaffs
I'm a dead handsome chap , just realised today must have swapped the no 1 for a 2 at some point and been walking round all day with a tuft on my head so have to keep my head back lol its getting shaved Sunday

LOL I am up in Durham tonight and went to see my Auntie after finishing work , she absolutely hates the fact that me and my brother do a no 1 on top as it "looks awful and thuggish" . Told her I will be up to see her again in a couple of weeks , taking the guard off and going to polish it with sandpaper before I visit

Re: Arise Sir Tommy of Fergiestaffs
OH has a no2 but my dad & brother both have the billiard ball look, not a hair in sight
