Feeling bad for Charlie
So we have just got a new and rather expensive corner sofa. When I was cleaning up the old one before we got rid of it, I could not believe how much of Charlie's hair was on it. So we have decided that he is not allowed on this new one. It's a shame because he used to snuggle up with us in the evenings and he was always cuddled up with my 6 year old daughter on the sofa. He looked so shocked when I first told him no when he wanted to get up a couple of days ago, and when my daughter was sat there earlier, he sat at her feet just staring at her, waiting for her to invite him up. After about 5 minutes he gave up and slunk off to his bed. It also means that his bed is now out in the dining room in the evening rather than the living room because he would always be on the sofa when we came down in the morning. Poor boy, I'm sure he'll get used to it!

Ooh that's a good idea! I'll invest in a throw for him. I can't believe I didn't think of that! I'll have to persuade the hubby....... Could always make him sit on the floor if he doesn't agree, see how he likes it.....

Re: Feeling bad for Charlie
I think Rocky would feel that he is no longer part of the family if we kept him off the sofa
A throw is a great idea or a blanket, try the charity shops they are great for things like that.
