Whilst replying to a lovely new member who is looking forward excitedly to getting her new puppy, and wondering what to name it, I was reminded of a letter I read in the Daily Mail a year or so ago and was engulfed in hysterical giggles again. In case any of you missed it I'll give you the gist of it here:-

The correspondent was a guy who had a dog he called Woof. One day, Woof was off the lead and a cyclist whizzed past him. This excited the dog and he ran after the cyclist, barking madly. Owner then ran after the dog, trying to recall him, crying "Woof, Woof, Woof". The cyclist looked back in horror - being pursued first by a dog barking its head off "woof woof woof" and then by a guy yelling "woof woof woof".

I'll bet the cyclist beat Bradley Higgins' best time - it still cracks me up (collapsing into giggles again Laughing )

Can just imagine filling in the forms at the vet - Dogs name Woof Laughing I bet they would think you had gone barking
