We also chose Suki because it's easy to pronounce in English and Japanese

Percy was already named from the rescue centre, but it really suits his quirky little character as a pup, and then when he's a grumpy old man it will suit him then also Big Grin

Tyson was initially called Tyron. I needed to have a name starting with T to match his kennel name and the name the breeder's children had given him (Teddi). Tyr is Norse and means 'God' and the addition of 'on' was 'of the'. Anyway it is all academic now as he became Tyson after an ear biting incident and it just stuck.

Rocky kind of speaks for itself really - Stone, stoney, craggy. He was already named when we got him from the rescue centre and decided to stay with it.

I knew that Loki was the god of mischief and a trickster and whatever, so I already had that name in mind when I got him. His personality just makes it accurate (though to be fair, all puppies would suit that name Big Grin).
