The Wonder of Dogs
Great endorsement for the breed from the vet on this programme last night. If you didn't watch it try to catch the repeat. Great to see some positive publicity for a change.
On the subject of dogs empathising with their human charges. I have been suffering from " man flu " for the last few days and, being a great believer in the healing power of sleep, have been having very early nights ( 6/7 pm.). Bacchus visits frequently, although he knows he shouldn't be in the bedroom, and has been resting his chin on the bed next to me, and I must admit it makes me feel better just stroking him. The OH tells me that when I've had the bedroom door closed he has been spending a lot of time lying beside the closed door.
Warms your heart.

Ahhh Bacchus you are doing great looking after your dad. Rocky will always join either me or hubby on the bed when we are feeling under the weather and will not leave our side even for his dinner.
