hi everyone, me again, need advice on what treats to get that dont cause loose poo ? and does it matter the amount they have a day ? thanks in advance Smile

If its for training then something tasty like sausage, I always used the Mattessons . I don't think too many a day as may upset the tum.
I only now have Vinnies dried biscuit in my pocket when out as he can get funny tums at times. Someone may be able to help out a bit more.

For training I use hot dog sausage or cooked chicken, which I cook with a bit of garlic for extra smell.

I also have to say my dogs do not get treats unless they are doing training...mean I know!

You could also try little raw carrot pieces. Dogs can't get all the nutrients from raw vegetables, so it won't add on a heap of weight. Smile They have the bonus of being quite tasty for dogs!

I use Darcy kibble sometimes out of her daily allowance or some hotdog sausage sliced into tiny bits, like you said though not too much or it may upset her tum Smile
