Found the cure for my throat!

Ice lollies. I can't eat or drink anything without feeling like my throat is on fire, but mum suggested ice lollies and it works!  She also suggested seeing a doctor, but that's not going to happen.

  A Doctor? What on earth would you go to one of them for

Apparently it's something you're supposed to do if you're ill   I hate going to the doctors, so I'm thinking I'll skip that one!

  The quacks! In all honesty though, your Mum is right! If your throat doesn't get better, a trip to the docs is in order, or else it will keep coming back and might eventuate into tonsillitis, if you haven't got it already, and tonsillitis is HORRIBLE!!!

I was talking to mum about that earlier! Spirit shots are really good for sore throats. I'd rather not have to suffer the extra pain that comes with taking the shot though.

Yay that's great Eleanor nothing worse than a sore throat. Molly's favourite when she has a sore throat is ice lollies.

Still feeling sleepy and achey, but at least the sore throat's a bit better so I can actually take a nap!

Yeah, doctors usually just prescribe an expensive chloroseptic or something if you complain of a sore throat.

Glad the lollies are soothing your throat Eleanor. If you've got white spots inside your throat - you've got tonsillitis. If you breathe on a horse and it drops down dead - you've got tonsillitis.

And the cure is .... an - ti - bi - ot - ics (only available from your local friendly quack!)

I love Fabs, but I'm staying away from ice creams and chocolate in case they irritate my throat. Sticking to Rocket ice lollies!

Nah, I checked for ulcers a couple of days ago. I'm pretty sure it's just a bit of an infection further down in my throat.

Still sounds to me that you need an - ti - bi - ot - ics.

There's nothing worse than a sore throat when you've got one and I'd walk over burning coals to cure it - or take antibiotics!

Noooooooo, no no no no no! Antibiotics means doctors! Doctors mean poking and prodding and digging through medical records and asking very uncomfortable questions about said medical records and making me a very sad bunny.

Doctors cure for everything is antibiotics alot of the time when they are not needed or necessary, another reason i don't bother with them!

If it doesn't show signs of improvement by Monday/Tuesday, I'll consider calling the doctor for a phone appointment, but I daresay it'll get better soon.

But of course! As I said to mum earlier, it's my medicine! I suppose I'll just have to suffer through eating all of those yummy horrible ice lollies!

Oh Eleanor (and I mean this in the most kindest and loving way) don't be a wuss! Antibiotics are the wonder of our age. No doctor will prescribe them unless they are necessary and they are natural (think mouldy bread).

Please promise me and your Mum that if you are not a lot better by Monday you will seek expert help (like you would for your animals?)  

Pfft, I'm so not a wuss! Last time I was at the doctors though, it was because I vomited blood! It takes a lot to get me down there!

It's definitely not tonsillitis! Throat's still sore, but the aching isn't as bad and I have more energy today.
