update on Vinny's limp
Poor little guy looked miserable yesterday between the heat and his limp. Managed to find some herbal stuff for pain and joints etc which to me looks similar to Yumove. The good news is the limp is definitely less today.
The bad news is I'm the ogre for trying to keep him quiet and rested

Glad it seems to have helped! I'm sure lots of fuss and TLC will take away your ogre status!

Re: update on Vinny's limp
Loads of TLC and fuss and a yummy sheeps' trotter for dinner but if he's still even slightly limping in a day or two we're off to the v.e.t *shh*
Bless Roxy she has been so gentle and patient with him.

Hopefully he'll feel better so you won't have to take him to the vet.

Re: update on Vinny's limp
Thanks ladies. Just got back from a very gentle on-lead walk and he was great - full of beans. So it's definitely not bothering him but I'll still try and keep him calm. Speaking of which they've just run outside, I'd better go check!

Re: update on Vinny's limp
Right, def off to the vet tomorrow. He was lying asleep on the couch and I went to give him a stroke - gentle as a feather. Touched his shoulder and he winced. My poor boy

Re: update on Vinny's limp
Back from the vet. They did a thorough check and said it doesn't seem to be serious, more a strained shoulder. Vin got an anti inflammatory shot and a couple of anti inflammatories for the next few days. We're to take him back by the middle of next week if he's still looking awkward.
He seems much happier since the vet trip, although he didn't want his coconut just not - vet did say the anti inflams might put him off his food.

Re: update on Vinny's limp
Thanks ladies, he certainly seems happier. The vet said that he thinks it's a strain but can also be growing pains where the joints (I think he said joints, stand corrected though) grow quicker and cause discomfort and with that comes a limp that alternates between legs.
Vin enjoyed his outing as always. We were sitting in the waiting area and he climbed up in between to sit and wait like a people He then gave the vet some loves to remember:lol:
