our second class and meeting the pitbulls

We had our second puppy class today and it went so well. Tip got to play with two six month old pittbulls and a six month old bully. She had so much fun. And the trainer said we did very well. The two pitts were so beautiful and we learned so much about body language today.

ooooh pitties

We were the first of the puppy class to arrive and two siberian hhuskies and the bull terrier joined us in the enclosure while they waited for the good citizen dog class to start. Those three were playing with Tip and then her puppy friends arrived (the JR was not there).

Turns out Tip gives a little yell when she has enough to tell the other pups she had enough. We been working on a walk away command when things get too intense and play turn into biting with intent to hurt.

After class we met the two pittbulls and boy did they want to play. The boy is apparently leash aggresive so when they calmly interacted they all three got lots of praise from me their owner and the trainers.

There were two dogs who finished their good citizen and there was cake for the humans and gifts for the two dogs. Tip was very dissapointed cause I would not give her any.

One of the ladies were there with a grey Great Dane and he kept pushing Tip over with all the sniffing. His mommy said she wanted to take Tip home with them.

She is very popular and I hope we can squash some of the few anti bully attitudes we ran into. Tip was much calmer this class and her favorite playmates are Lisa the Rottweiler and Lenny the Rhodesian Ridgeback.

Aww sounds like Tip did so well, and had a load of fun! Must be so proud of her!
