halti head collars
my dog alfie pulls but recently he has started pulling a lot more and it's a nightmare taking him for a walk, i have tried assorts of different training Technics but he doesnt seem to want to stop pulling
i was told a halti would be a good start, i did use a half choke collar but that didnt help

Re: halti head collars
We have a halti for Rocky and have seen improvements on our walks with using it, he can be a bit of a puller when the mood takes him. He does try to pull it off though but mostly he is OK with wearing it and will walk nicely on the lead with it on.

Re: halti head collars
I have used all sorts but the Canny was the one that seemed to break the pulling habit. Maddie still pulls sometimes, but only if she wants to play with/chase/greet something. The rest of the time she walks well. When we first adopted her she was a dreadful puller, used to hurt my arms and back. The halti was good but Maddie hated it, so she was always sad at the start of walks.

Re: halti head collars
I have a halti, as Sky is nearly 11months and pulls something terrible. Since putting it on, a quick tug when she is wearing that once or twice and she pretty much stops pulling. I also use it in the house, to calm her down when new people come in. Probably the best thing I've ever bought for the dog. :-)
