Re: Is lola from good lines?
I don't know any of the recent dogs in her pedigree, but that doesn't mean much. I'm on my mobile at the moment so i can't look further back.
I would be quite concerned that she was obviously bred for colour, though. Just about all her recent ancestors were blue or blue & white.

im inclined to agree with what caryll has said also there seems to be a lot of untested dogs in the pedigree i seen stating clear through parents but both parents have not been tested before breeding and grandparents have no actual testing either so i wouldnt take the statment clear at face valueCaryll wrote:I don't know any of the recent dogs in her pedigree, but that doesn't mean much. Re: Is lola from good lines?
What some would consider badly bred others wouldn't. It's all down to personal preference. Just because some dogs aren't from show lines doesn't mean they aren't good dogs. just because some dogs have well known dogs in the peds doesn't mean they are better than dogs without.
There are lots of variables to consider.
I've seen some absolute cracking staffords that aren't from show backgrounds with no known or noticable ancestors in their heritage.
As long as you are happy with your dog, who cares?

I dont think show quality dogs is the issue here its the lack of health testing that is the worrying partHakuna wrote:What some would consider badly bred others wouldn't. Re: Is lola from good lines?
All breeding dogs should be DNA tested for L2-HGA and HC. Plus there's also an eye test for PHPV and PPSC. All results should be made available to the buyer of any pups from the litter.

But you also have the higher possibility of Colour Dilution Alopecia with so many blues being mated to blues right down the line on both sides.

Having said all of that, I'm sure Lola's in very good health, and from your pics she's a beautiful wee thing!
