I reckon more like 3 pounds lighter if you haven't been for four days

Prunes are always good for loosening things up Steve, then a cup of tea should do the trick. Good luck.
If it goes on for any longer you may need to see the doctor or just mention it next time you are there.

You need regular fibre in your diet, Steve. Plenty of fresh fruit & veg daily!

Get some movicol from the chemist. You can take 2 a day no problem, they take up to 3 days to completely take effect. Once you've been you can take one a day to maintain things if its a problem. But as said lots of fibre and also LOTS of water!

Re: struggling having an number2
Good point. Fibre needs to be carefully balanced. Too much fibre and not enough water will cause you to become constipated, the same as not enough fibre. This is another reason why so many restrictive diets cause more harm than good. Cutting out food groups for a long period of time just messes up your body and you'll end up suffering for it in the long term.
