my poor baby :,(

Sapphy was in the yard minding her own bussiness i was getting laundry out dryer n i heard all this commotion outside i looked out the window to see a white staff jumping back over the fence i thought what the hell went out to my baby laid on the floor i ran over and she was wimpering i picked her up n checked her over and shes got the biggest puncture mark in her neck ever so i rang emergency vets and they come out straight away shes had to have three layers of stiches and tonns of hugs and kisses my poor baby she now will refuse to go out onto yard to do her bussiness and wont go on walks i dunno what to do she keeps pooping and peeing in the house shes terrified. Shes been attaked by another staffy in her own yard and now shes scared im hopimg she will feel abit better in the morning and will be giving her tons of praise and help her gain confidence to go on the yard again but my poor baby :,( xxx

Btw she has free roam off the house and yard door is always open for her to come n go as she pleases she has a bed in shelter outside and loves to sunbath. And wasnt unsupervised i was getting washing out. X

I think you'll have to go back to basics with the toilet training. Stay out with her until she's done her business and then lots of praise.
Definitely report the incident even if you don't know who owns it, a viscous dog wandering round the neighbourhood going into people's gardens is not acceptable, it could be a child next time, it needs looking into.

Poor Sapphy I hope she recovers quickly, I can't understand why people don't have better control over their dogs its just not on, she should be safe in her own backyard Give her big hugs from me and Axl x

Thankz all she terrified she keeps scratching her stiches its hard but shes ok. Yep gone back to basics and rspca have been informed and dog warden thier are a few around my area but cant accuse them really. Xx

Is there nothing you can do to make your yard less accessible , I have to say if a dog can jump in then a dog can jump out so I would be a little concerned fro her security as well Hope she gets over this stress soon poor girl

poor girl,thats horrible that happens in her own garden,could you put up a higher fence so it does'nt happen again,hope she heals soon  

We have put up an extender on our fence but the landord told us we had to take it down the dog that attaked sapphy has also broken two of the fence pannels on our fence. I dread to think how. X
