Turns her nose up at puppy food
Ok so I have a almost 5 month old staffy cross bitch (no clue as to what she is crossed with) and a 5 year old dalmatian, I have been feeding them both there own foods but up until a few days ago by baby was happy to eat her puppy food, but has now started to turn her nose up to it and eat the leftovers of my dalmatians food. I have tried feeding them in separate rooms and at different times, but it has made no difference what so ever. She went all day yesterday and the evening before without eating and I am getting a little concerned. Would my baby be ok on the same food as my dally ??
Thanks for advice in advance

Re: Turns her nose up at puppy food
Purina isn't a good food, and I would never recommend it. For a start they still do animal testing, but it's also very high in grains (cereals are the first named ingredient) and low in meat content (14% - very low). A pup needs a good quality protein source (meat or fish) and no grains.
Have a look at something like Wainwrights or James Wellbeloved, or maybe a fish based kibble such as Fish4dogs or Fishmongers.

When we just got Tip we had the same trouble. Now I add dog gravy and also add egg at some meals and she now eats it all.t
