I agree, looks stupid!Eleanor wrote:I think it depends on the person, really. :)I definitely wouldn't condemn anybody for getting a tattoo because they just like the look of it. If that's what they're comfortable with, good for them!
One thing I can't abide seeing is offensive tattooing though, just for shock value.

Most employers think so too. And these people wonder why they often can't find decent jobs, with swear words scrawled across their faces?Sazzle wrote:I agree, looks stupid!Eleanor wrote:I think it depends on the person, really. :)I definitely wouldn't condemn anybody for getting a tattoo because they just like the look of it. Re: tattoos
To be fair, if you're really not keen on tattoos, no designs will look appealing, so it'd be next to impossible to choose one!

Re: tattoos
If I've found a google image of one I like how do I get it to show in my post?

Re: tattoos
I have a hideous tattoo, I designed it myself at 16, but it was a cover up for one I had done when I was 14, 2 Chinese symbols, and no my parents never new (a reason kids should not get tattoo's).
My plan is to have it re-coloured and have flowers growing up behind it to break it up, but it hurts and its been the plan for over 10 years

That's not hideous at all! Better than I could design, that's for sure!janey wrote:I have a hideous tattoo, I designed it myself at 16, but it was a cover up for one I had done when I was 14, 2 Chinese symbols, and no my parents never new (a reason kids should not get tattoo's).

If I did ever decide to get a tattoo, I can say for certain that I would never get a tattoo done down there. Even the thought of it makes me shudder!
