Most employers think so too. And these people wonder why they often can't find decent jobs, with swear words scrawled across their faces?

 

To be fair, if you're really not keen on tattoos, no designs will look appealing, so it'd be next to impossible to choose one!

I have a hideous tattoo, I designed it myself at 16, but it was a cover up for one I had done when I was 14, 2 Chinese symbols, and no my parents never new  (a reason kids should not get tattoo's).



My plan is to have it re-coloured and have flowers growing up behind it to break it up, but it hurts and its been the plan for over 10 years

That's not hideous at all!  Better than I could design, that's for sure!

If I did ever decide to get a tattoo, I can say for certain that I would never get a tattoo done down there. Even the thought of it makes me shudder!

I think the stars sort of clutter it up I was looking for a rose design, but they all seem to be in colour

Yeah, same here! Plus, you never know just how good the shading will be. I've seen some real messy ones before!

I have home made on each knuckle and an inverted cross on my middle finger..classey. two skulls on my left arm above a traditional hawk. On my rightI have a tasmanian devil from when I was 16 and below that a rose and dagger. My back I have a wizard 3/4 and a dragon 3/4 facing off. I have my name on my left leg should I ever lose it lol. I also have a mish mash of crap on my left arm I did as a kid (righthanded) would love to get it coverd by a shoulder and sleave but cant afford if I ever won the lotto and dint have to worry about work...george in dusk til dawn neck tat is awsomn

I've got a little butterfly on my shoulder, small flower chain on my upper right arm, OH name on my left wrist, some writing on my right arm from elbow to wrist, an awful one at the bottom of my back & kids names on my right foot.

This is on my right arm elbow to wrist ish, It's for my mum & dad because I didn't want mum & dad lol because they made me what I am
