walking dogs is so social
I take billy down to the woods everyday for his walks and have met some lovely people and some gorgeous dogs, walking a dog is so sociable, you meet people and dogs of all ages.

I've got to know some nice people on our walks & some not so nice!
It's good to pass the time of day, though, with other people who love their doggies just as much as we do!

Half the reason I got Moo was the social side thats why I love summer so we can go out after work, but as Caryll said I have also met some complete to**ers too!

Yes I agree. For me it's vey therapeutic as for years I have suffered with chronic depression. I would not be out no where near as much as I am if it wasn't for Lola, I like having the responsiblity to have to take her out and if I miss a walk for some reason I do feel guilty, so it forces me outside. Not only is the excersise good for me and for Lola, but also the people we meet and talk to gives me confidence and encourages Lola to be socialable. All in all it makes for one happy owner and her very happy dog

the best is when you meet other staffy owners -there is just this instant connection where you fawn over each others baby!

If it wasn't for Taz I'd be hermit most definatly i never went anywhere and didn't want to but sinse having him then all the others i'v met some pretty good people granted their all alot older than I and they have the fluffy white things most of which are ok. When it comes to animals I'll talk to someone all day but otherwise i wouldn't even look up. Everyone around this area knows me now if i don't have the dogs they ask why and worry as well.

It's no laughing matter. They're all stood around making 'doggy talk' and me and Skye zoom past like we're on skates. It's very anti-social.

Love walking Blue.
Being self employed I had 2 gears stop and work till I drop. Blue has helped me heaps to go from being frantic and stressed to relaxing so when I come back from walking him, im chilled and in a more relaxed state of mind. Which is great for the family and helps me chill and enjoy the time I have with my wife and kids

Re: walking dogs is so social
I have to admit when I see anyone walking a staffy I always go up to them and talk to them, and ask if it is okay if I pat their dog. I am a sucker for them !!
