curious back leg behaviour do all staffys do it.....

can anyone answer this for me....do all staffys back legs change direction when walking&trotting ..e.g left then right ..zya does it all the time its quite funny too watch ..is it a staffy thing as i havent seen any other breed do this  it does make me smile she looks like a side winding tank im new to owing a staffy so there characteristics fascinate's me x

Not sure I know exactly what you mean but Daisy does have a very cute trot from the back!

Darcy does a cute little trot too sometimes she does a little side step too

I think their backsides when they run downstairs are something else! Must video them one day!

it seems i havent really explained myself well sorry lol when zya trots her back legs go at an angle either left ways or right i call it side winding  she swaps back legs alot either angled left or right she never walls in a straight line ...she does make me laugh it seems the rest that have commented have lil ways about there walk too ill defo have too video her next time and @jo zya going down stairs is hilarious coz she got lil legs its like all bum until she lands at the bottom

When Zya trots, do you mean that both her legs on one side go forward, and then both legs on the other side go forward, like a camel?

No hun lol her front legs don't change its her back legs they swing left and right together as she trots its quite sweet really but jus baffles me why she never walks straight like most breeds x

I think its because her little back legs are so packed with muscles!

That would make sense she's defo got swagger lol she is muscular too it jus baffles me but I think its a lovely trate aswell afew people have commented about the way she trots they say she's showing off I say its confidence lol thanks for all your suggestions x

Maddie always looks like her back legs are trying to overtake her front when she trots.  I think it is adorable

haha i used to call memphis wiggly bum when he was a pup for the way they walk   

@sar h zya makes me laugh she propa shakes her bum alot i can't but help tell her too "work it"  @warren I call zya stocky pig she kinda dances her back legs from left to right its hilarious as she looks like a dancing tank
