Bruno's Busy Day!
Yesterday (bank holiday monday) my partner and I took Bruno to my mum's house, where he met my other dogs. We then went into Petersfield to go to the summer festival, which was lots of stalls, food and music.
My other dogs, Toby and Boris are both labradoodles. They're 5 and 4 years old and until yesterday I considered them 'average sized dogs'... THEY'RE HUGE!! I've gotten so used to my little Bru, that when I saw my big lads again they just seemed massive to me!! I imagined how big they'd seem to Bruno and was hoping he'd be ok with them.
I was holding Bruno in my arms and as soon as T+B had calmed down (they get excited when people visit) I plonked him on the floor and hoped for the best. I needn't have worried, soon as he was on the floor his tail started wagging like mad and he was happy as larry being sniffed and nudged around by the others.
We took them into the garden (first time Bruno's seen grass too) and he had a GREAT time running around and exploring and playing with T+B's tails... If anything, T+B were more cautious than he was! I was so proud of him!!
We then went into the festival (left the big boys at home) and walked around to see the sights. Of course we were stopped a lot and Bruno got lots of compliments and cuddles which he took all in his stride. He's so chilled out, it amazes me.
We stayed for a couple of hours before we went home, Bruno ate his lunch and had another run in the garden before flopping underneath one of our chairs for a nap!! Needless to say he was exhausted and last night he slept right through from half eleven to 5am!! Tiredy boy!
We took lots of photos so here's a few of them
Bruno meeting his 'uncles' Toby and Boris. (Boris on the left).
Sitting outside the pub having a drink.
Enjoying the sunshine in the queue for the crepe stall... much to his disgust he wasn't allowed to share my chocolate crepe!
Back at grandma's house and enjoying the green stuff!

Uncle Boris
"Cor! You're a bit bigger than me!"
Thieving my uncle's toy.

Boris didn't want to play... boring!
"Why don't they let me chew on their big fluffy tails mum"
"Alright then, I'll just have a snooze.."
Toby getting a cuddle from 'daddy'
Sitting in the big boy's bed at the end of the day, all tuckered out.
And here he is back at home, having just nodded off midway through trying to steal my phone from my hand! Somebody had a long long day!!
And I just have to share this photo, it's our favourite one yet. It's going in a frame for sure...
Hope you like them!

Re: Bruno's Busy Day!
Wow looks like he had an excellent day getting to know his uncles and exploring the big wide world! They are fabulous looking dogs too!
I love the pictures you have taken, Bruno is super photogenic!
p.s the first one makes me giggle as it like he is saying yep just check me out I'll wait till you've finished
It's also so nice that we have this beautiful weather so you can take him out, when we got Otis it was December and we couldn't have all these lovely sunny shots.
