Need a bit of advice about baby teeth..... Bronson is 5 months old today and has only lost 1 tooth which was one of his side teeth. I've been told this is not normal he should have lost more by now. His front teeth seem to be gettin thicker/bigger is this normal or will he loose them all?? Thanx

Darcy started to Lose hers around 4/5 months, it's totally normal, you'll probably find he'll start losing them all one by one now, we noticed and managed to keep a few Smile frozen carrots & a wet tea towel frozen may help soothe his gums Big Grin

Moved this to puppy chat as you'll get a better audience in here with people going through the same thing.
And dont worry its normal. Both my two replaced there sharp lil razor teath so quick I didnt know which were which for a while. Laska had a double front set for a before her baby teath fell out. It happens so quick!

Don't worry Nats, puppies shed their baby teeth without you noticing - I think they swallow them! I've only ever found one baby tooth on the floor, which I've wrapped up and treasured!

If his front teeth are looking thicker/bigger it's because they're his adult teeth and the baby teeth have "disappeared" !

As everyone has said nothing to worry about, you cant always notice as Lynda said. I managed to find 3 of Vinnies which was probably pure luck.
Also as Hayley mentioned frozen carrot and tea towel works wonders for gums. x

Yes, they'll be adult teeth & you just haven't noticed the loss of the baby teeth!Big Grin
