Some advice please :)
Hello my loverlies, well since last being on here we got served our notice on our rented house which made me panic (not for finding another house but finding somewhere that would accept Marley as part of our family, not an annoying dog ) Anyhows two days later we have secured a lovely house that will take Marley and even has an 175ft garden , my dilema is our current garden doesnt have a shred of grass and marley has always been allowed to number two wherever he pleases as its all concrete easy to find and clean up! Well the new garden is all grass and being so big i dont want to be come summer having to walk up and down 175feet to find all his pooh before i can let my kiddies out there, so my question is there a way i can train Marley to toilet in a certain place??? x

I would fence off an area, and go right back to basics. Take him there, wait until he goes and praise like hell.

Very possible. Logan goes on a concrete area so he doesn't ruin my garden lol.
It's basically a matter of bringing Marley to the chosen area and waiting until he goes and praising him. You will have to repeat it a good few times to make it stick, and be sure of a few mishaps.
It'll work best for you to try this at the normal times he goes, like after meals etc.

What I would do is: put the lead on and take him for a wee/poo to the garden,as soon as you see that he wants to do no 2,take him to the spot where you want him to do it, use a word you want to use for it, when he does it there praise him a lot. . That's what we did with Debo ,when we wanted him to do his business on pads. It worked.

nice to have a huge garden you will need a decent lawnmower though. As others have said either fence off a bit or take on lead to a certain spot and plenty of praise

Yep, fence a small area off - about 2 x 2 metres - and do on-lead poop introductions there if needs be.
Make it as close to the back door as possible or it won't get visited on rainy nights.
