quick note aswell to any replies, if bones are important what ones could i buy for him, that would be small enough for him to eat, when i get big ones he just takes them outside the garden to either have a small chew or hide them in dirt.

No you aren't feeding everything he needs.

To feed a complete raw diet you need to roughly follow this ratio
80:10:5:5
which is meat:bones:liver:other offal

So yes bones and offal are ESSENTIAL as is feeding the biggest variety of meats you can

Have a look a these links for a better understanding:
www.preymodelraw.com

Can i ask are you feeding a raw diet, or partial raw with kibble alongside?

you aren't doing harm, it takes months and months for a deficiency to show, which is why when you swap a dog onto raw it doesn't matter that they don't get everything from day one

You really need to be thinking about adding bones and other things in. Please read the links i sent you and have a look here to see if there are any suppliers that deliver to you
