Not what we wanted to hear 2!
by marley'smummy Today at 7:10 pm
Hi everyone it's been a while since we've been on but we have been so busy!!
Marley has just turned one and four weeks ago started with a sporadic limp so we waited and checked he hadn't pulled a muscle whilst out walking, or Marley being the usual staffie wasn't giving himself a dead leg with the funny positions he sits in but today a trip to the vets was in order and he diagnosed luxating patellas in both his back legs his right side worse than the left.
We are on a weeks strict rest and some anti inflammatories if that doesn't work we have to make an appointment with the owner of the vets who's an orthopaedic specialist to discuss surgery options
So gutted for him especially as his so young, has anyone else ever had to deal with this?? X posted this on other staff page aswell but wanted to hear of any puppy owners can help. X

No the vets showed me and you can feel knee caps popping all over the place X-rays are going to be done on next app as Marley had had his legs pulled around quite a lot today x

Don't panic firstly till you can see the extent after x-ray, and then there are a few members who's dogs have had the op in both legs and have been fine after, just takes time. Don't worry to much, easier said than done I know Xx
