Saxon Trying to Eat
I took the cone off so he could eat more easily right after I took the video.

Re: Saxon Trying to Eat
When Dempsey had to wear his cone I took it off him while he was eating or drinking.
In fact after about 3 days I only put it on him when he went to bed - he's so wide that he couldn't reach his stitches anyway!

Every time I take it off for more then a minute he starts chewing on his crotch, so he's going to need to keep it on for a few more days.

Bless
I found with Blue as time went on he learn't how not to adjust to it
I think they could have them on for 3 years they just never adjust. My legs were bruised badly when Blue had his own. Weren't his fault but he follows me everywhere and just kept walking into me/.....dozey bugger

Re: Saxon Trying to Eat
we didn't keep lexi's cone on when we had her done the other week she just wouldn't settle with it she kept falling asleep sitting up, so we just left it she doesn't bother with her stitches luckily

Re: Saxon Trying to Eat
Saxon went straight for his stitches whenever I took the cone off for longer then it took to eat. He's all healed up now and cone free, though.

This was not the most pathetic of it all. He really knew how to milk that cone:
But when no one is looking, he made himself very comfortable:

He really could have!! I posted the picture to my facebook and everyone thought I was a terrible person! I had to post some of his "no one's looking I can cut the act" pictures up to prove I wasn't torturing him! He's such a funny little dog!
