Saxon's New Toy
A woman at work today gave me a toy for Saxon! It's a treat toy and her dog can no longer eat the treats because of his allergies. Saxon loves it, though! It's called an Everlasting Treat Ball and she even gave me some Vegetarian-Chicken flavored treats to go in it!
Here's the toy (Saxon's is a large): http://aboutdogtraining.sitestreet.com/173/Everlasting_Treat_Ball.htm
And here are the treats: http://aboutdogtraining.sitestreet.com/180/Everlasting_Treats.htm
He's absolutely loving it and has been chewing on it for over an hour! Here are some pics!
Even Ziggy was curious:
But not too curious:
"I love this toy, Mom!!"

Re: Saxon's New Toy
They look good, but they're a bit pricey & I'm strapped for cash till pay day!
I might get one later, though!

The toy is holding up really well to Saxon's jaws of destruction! The treat has lasted for almost 2 hours and would probably last even longer, but I took it away from him because he was really wearing himself out!! He's going to sleep well tonight (in our locked apartment protected by two vicious attack cats, hehe).

Re: Saxon's New Toy
the only thing with those vegi treats are they leave a sticky mess everywere. We gave mouse a hedgehog shaped one..resulted in a new quilt, quilt cover and a real good cleaning of the floor & mouse's first bath!

Re: Saxon's New Toy
Wow! They are pretty expensive for you guys! Must be because of shipping or something! On Amazon for US the toy is as cheep as $15.99 (about £10) and the filling is as cheep as $4 (about £2.50)!!
It didn't make too much of a mess for me, but he was playing with it on the hardwood, not sure how it would be on the couch/rug.

Re: Saxon's New Toy
yeah looks like he was giving it hell... but he certainly was enjoying it.
things seem to be alot cheaper over your way.. I know our dollar and your dollar are similar, but when I wanted my thundershirt for Jethro they were $36 in America. They suggested I buy one from the Australian distributor.. suddenly it was $54 !! Rip off ( then with postage came to $61 ) (Luckily it is working so I don't mind )
