things to make dry food more interesting? Empty things to make dry food more interesting?

Post by asa-james Thu Aug 01 2013, 19:03

after reading some advice on here, i added a raw egg into her food tonight, and its the quickest i've ever seen her empty a bowl. she usually picks over a bowl for a day and a half, and i know its not ideal (she also gets treats, and my parents are really bad for "dropping" things in the kitchen/=] )

so other than raw eggs, and ive also heard of gravy, what can i add in a few times a week to shake things up?

I can't see it hurting Dave as long as it's not full of salt and butter Smile

We add a little cooked, cooled chicken to Rocky dinner and he loves it. Hubby has been known to add a tiny bit of pate too, Rocky knows who's a soft touch around here Smile

I use eggs or sardines. You can get cheap sardines in tomato sauce in Morrisons for about 35p. Sometimes if you have been cooking veg eg carrots use the water and soak the dried food then the dog gets the vitamins biggrin
