Upset tummy
Hi.
I've had my pup for 3 weeks now. Had to take him to the vet on Tuesday as he has had the runs since Sunday and started being sick. The vet checked him over and he didn't have a temp and wasn't dehydrated. The vet said to feed him brown rice n chicken for a couple of days.
He was fine yesterday normal poos etc. but today he has started being sick and poo is like squirts I'm not going to feed him until the morning and continue him on the rice again.
Does anyone advise changing his normal food as been thinking it might be too rich for him?
Thanks amie

He's a list of dried foods we recommend :- http://staffy-bull-terrier.com/dry_food the vets recommend boiled rice & chicken because its easily digested

Ok, I don't know how old your pup is, but if he's very young then I wouldn't skip more than one feed. Try him with some boiled eggs & rice instead if chicken and see if that helps.
If he's still the same tomorrow, I'd get him back to the vet.
P.S. Iams is not a good food, and I would advise you to seriously consider changing to a better food.
