Ronnie, female staffy x, South Gloucestershire Now Desperate.

Ronnie is a lovely staffy (probably crossed with something else), who has been in the pound for a while now. She is believed to be 4-6 years old, and has been vaccinated and microchipped.  She is a friendly, happy dog who loves fuss and enjoys retrieving tennis balls.  She seems fine with other dogs, both when in kennels, and meeting them on walks, and enjoys travelling in the car. She has some training and is eager to learn. Ronnie is very gentle, and has got on well with a visiting eight year old. Ronnie is a very sweet girl who now needs a home or rescue space urgently.

I went up to the kennels today.  Ronnie is still as gorgeous and friendly as ever but you can tell the hope is fading from her eyes. It is awful to see, poor girl.  
If any of you know ANYONE who might be able to foster this darling dog, or any rescue that could at least promote her and support her in finding a home, then please, please let us know.  She isn't going to last much longer in kennels.

The only rescue centre I know of in my area is Wood Green Animal Charity, this is where Rocky came from, I don't know if they can help you, it might be worth giving them a call or drop an email. Their contact details are in the link below:

Kathy, Woodgreen is a very long way from us, so organising delivery would be difficult.  There are a couple of others we need to try again first.  Thanks very much for the suggestion though - it is appreciated
