Looking for a Female Pooch Companion in South West UK
Hello All,
My partner & I have spent a considerable amount of time discussing/waiting for the right time to add another member to our family. We already have Heston, who we got from NAWT Heavens gate in Jan 2012, and he is now 17 months old. He is a playful and affectionate boy who loves other dogs/people and literally lives a dogs life. We spend a lot of time with Heston, as we live where we work and spend a lot of time outdoors. We enjoy daily walks in our local area (Exmoor) and visit the beach regularly. We also attend weekly KC Good Citizen classes in Tiverton- Heston won the Most Progressed Award for 2012, as he has moved from Puppy Foundation to Expert Obedience in 10 months (as you can see we are crazy/committed!)
We think we could offer an excellent home to a female pooch (we are not age-ist or breed-ist) who enjoys the company of another bully dog, rides in the car (and occasionally trips overnight in the camper van) & plenty of cuddles on the sofa.
We have been keeping an eye on several South West rescue pages and this thread for the past month, but no one has stood out/matches our location. However we may of overlooked someone or perhaps someone was put up a while ago and still seeking a forever home. If any of you committed rescue folk out there would like to know more about us or read this and have someone in mind please get in touch
Many Thanks,
Georgie

There are hundreds in rescues/fosters my way, I could have them all, but I guess we're too far away from you. Good luck from us

Re: Looking for a Female Pooch Companion in South West UK
There are a number of rescues in the South West area, but we haven't found the right pooch yet. This Staffy forum was so useful to us in Heston's early days, especially on the knowledge front, that I thought it was worth writing a little piece....
I've noticed a couple of forum members who are from the rescue centres i've had my eye on, so I am going to get in touch with them directly this week
