Puppy Found
My sister in law lives with her back garden on the canal in Blackburn. Niece went out to play and found this tied up this morning to a lampost on the canal. A women on the street has taken the little feller in

Re: Puppy Found
Already got a home, a woman on the same street has taken him in. Niece cried her eyes out as she wanted to keep him (Named him Bamboo )
But the woman said she can see him every day and take him on walks with her

Re: Puppy Found
Very pleased a home has been found, make sure they try and trace it though as you don't know why it was tied there someone else may have found the dog and the real owner may have lost it for whatever reason Xx

Re: Puppy Found
Why Why Why, Why do people do this, they get a pup because it is cute, then they can not be bothered with the training, mess, chewing. This really frustrates me!!!

Re: Puppy Found
Must admit the fact that it was tied to a lamp post does sound like abandonment but there may be other reasons like someone found it wandering so thought safer to tie in case owner was looking etc so Sis should get checked for the old Microchip etc and ask a few questions in the area first

They will check but TBH it was the first day that it was a little cooler but still who if they found him would tie him to a lamppost in the heat we've had

I know mate but the world is full of stupid people and me and you can vouch for that . I , personally am 99% certain that this poor little fella was dumped by some B*****d but there are possible scenarios to be watching for though highly unlikely,
Check for the Microchip , post on FB but most important no description , let the one with the missing dog tell you what they look like ( sorry if this is a stupid comment and patronising to make ) check with the police and the local vet and maybe the local shelters
By then Sis has made the best effort possible to make sure pup is out there if he is to be found

Re: Puppy Found
And by the way , I have a friend that was out walking in the Blackburn area with a male SBT pup ( possibly crossed but not sure ) age approx 14-16 weeks ( never quite sure from when he bought the pup ) predominantly brindle with a large white patch down his belly. The dog ran off when he saw a Blackburn girl that spooked him . Apparently he has this great trick where he can tie himself up as his previous owner was an alcoholic and couldn't manage it
If you happen to come across him can you please let me know and I have offered to pick him up as my mates car got twocked whilst he was down the canal looking for his dog
