Was quite surprised at how undisastrous it turned out Laughing  (This was my first ever ever attempt at baking and I only had very minimal advice from the OH and my daughter)

Just wished I didn't double up on the garlic as it absolutely stinks , but the dogs love it Big Grin

I got dragged off the barbie half way through as the OH wanted to cut it up and stash it but once the knife went in couldn't handle the smell ( she has a big reaction to garlic and doesn't like it touching her Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes  ) and then Jenny wimped out ( obvious who has the dominant genes there :-$  ) so I had to take over , but I could sort of see where they were coming from , had to put most of it in the freezer and kept a couple of bags aside for now, put em in my beer fridge and now all my lager smells of garlic Laughing Laughing Laughing

Didn't fancy trying it , especially after I cleaned the liver out of the blender and got the stringy bits from around the blade thing sick

Sad Sad Sad  The fact that my first cookery attempt was on the dogs , does that devalue my relationship and the feelings I have for them Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad  I never thought about it before but maybe I should have baked something for the OH first just to make sure I wasn't that bad Laughing Laughing Laughing

Nasher, this is the human food part of the forum! If you look a bit further up there is an area called "Staffordshire Bull Terrier diet and nutrition". If you create a new thread in that section you would get more replies. Ultimately though, I would be asking your vet as he will know the extent of the liver disease.
