Scream in 3,2,1.....
I took Rocky up to the park today to have a run around and do some training, we were in the car park and I was wiping Rocky down when some kids came along yelling and fussing about, it was quite late so pretty dark, I didn't think much of it as its a busy area, but then they started smashing glass bottles on the ground...and they were close enough that pieces were flying over near Rocky and I....then one hit my car, boy oh boy I was furious, especially that broken glass is so dangerous for any pet, children, etc. I really didn't want to say anything as I was on my own, but as they hit my car I couldn't just say nothing, well they ended up ranting and raving how I should get my 'viscous staffy' to attack them as I wouldn't be able to protect myself blah blah.....I got in the car and left and rang police, they said they would patrol the area and keep an eye out.
Well, on my way home, slightly shaken and upset by these idiots, someone slams into my car from behind Rocky had his restraint on but still went flying all about the place. Got out of the car and my first instinct was to check on Rocky, the guy gets out and starts yelling at me for pressing my brakes....oh im sorry, I forgot I had to speed through red lights just so that you can get stuck at the next red light and get no where any faster..... clap clap to you clever man. So another man had a go at me, so I lost it by this point, police were called and tow trucks to take my car away so this was just the worst start to my weekend
Rant over.

Jeez Maria, I hope you can get things sorted out quickly. I know the law is a bit different down under to how it is here with people hitting into the back of your car. If I have it right for you guys you are more likely to be called at fault if you are hit when putting the brakes on, here the person hitting you is more likely to be called at fault. Very confusing if you ask me.
Sending hugs to you hope it gets sorted very soon.

Re: Scream in 3,2,1.....
Thanks Kathy Actually if someone hits you from behind more than likely it is the person who hits you that is at fault, I could have been pressing my breaks for various reasons, someone on the side road, avoiding something on the road etc, but I stopped at the light went from green to yellow and I wasn't going to risk going through a massive intersection on the yellow lights, its illegal and dangerous! So the police questioned us both and its all going through insurance now, so far insurance have said he is at fault. Ill see how it goes Thanks again x

It's the same for you as it is for us then Maria, that's good. It should all go through quite quickly sounds very straight forward. Be sure to get yourself checked out by the doctor too just in case xxx

I've only just seen this too.
OMG Maria, troubles never come singly do they. I don't know why it is, but Fate is never content with one crap thing happening to you, it has to send another one along as well (there's a saying that trouble comes in threes - I certainly hope that is not the case for you).
I'm glad to hear that you and Rocky are feeling better today ((((HUGS))))
