Poo's

On average how many times a day should dogs poo?? Herbie at the moment is pooing once sometimes twice a day?? He doesn't struggle it's firm I just wondered if 1-2 is normal? Xxx

It depends on what food he eats what quality it is & how many meals. A raw fed dog will often only poo once a day, and there won't be much of it. A dry fed dog will probably poo once or twice a day, more if it's fed 2 or 3 times a day.

Lola is fed a decent dry food twice a day, and she has 2 poo's!

Shéara's on a good dry food and he poops 1-2 times a day

Moo is on dry (apparently it isn't the best) and she will go 3/4 times a day, morning always (7am), 1 on the morning walk, 1 on the afternoon walk, and then sometimes 1 on the night walk. We haven't a garden so I always know lol Xx

My older dogs will go once, sometimes twice (very rarely) but my pup will go 3 times a day with out fail at the moment, but she is on 3 meals.

I feed raw and get 1-2 each day that isn't too huge... x3 dogs though, still seems like a lot.

Darcy 2/3 per day

Daisy has two meals and is usually 2, very occasionally 3!

Herbie is fed a raw diet & we are in our 3 month so I'm guessing its pretty normal 1-2 a day lol I need to ask these questions for peace of mind xxx thank guys xxx

Funny how the talk on this forum always ends up with poo! 

Floyd was switched to raw 2 weeks ago and he poops rabbit poop a couple of times a day. unless he's snaffled horse poop in which case there's more than usual!!

I would say 3 times a day for mine , on dry , it becomes painfully obvious that my daughter doesn't do her poo duties properly when I'm away , double the dogs double the chuddies  

Ledger goes 2-4 times a day but was obviously restricted with walks by his previous owners as if we go on long walks about 2pm he will try and go 3+ times it's like he is trying to make sure he won't need to go again til the next morning

Rocky is at 2, rarely 3 a day!

both mine are fed raw and are also about three months into the diet and down to mostly once a day

Raw fed here and chance goes once a day normally but Harvey tends to go every other day

Mine only poop once a day, unless they had a bone meal the night before then its more like little pebbles!

normally once or twice a day, in the morning and then again at night. i feed twice a day, noon and evening so thats probably why
