Kennel cough vaccination Empty Kennel cough vaccination

Post by Liberty Sat Jun 29 2013, 18:21

Am taking my girlie for her annual boosters tomorrow.
Is it worth getting the kennel cough vaccination too?
I will obviously ask the vet (who will probably want me to spend the extra £17)
Thanks

No UNLESS you are definitely planning on boarding your dog for a holiday etc.

It is basically useless, it only covers a few strains of KC and there are many many strains, and the ones it covers it does it very badly!

What Ella said. And kennels require it 10 days before entry to the kennel

No, don't bother unless the kennels insist on it - it's also very unpleasant for the dog as it gets squirted up their nostrils!
