rspca programme
just watching the rspca programme which I love but today I am disgusted with the programme, its the Australian version and they have a cat which has been attacked by 2 staffies. I don't see the reason for the constant and it is constant mentioning that the cat was attacked by 2 staffies. Yes its awful but the must have said that it was attacked by 2 staffies at least 10 times during the programme and at one point said vicious staffies.
Is this any way for a responsible rspca organisation to act mentioning the breed a million times to ensure that people continue to think that this beautiful breed (in the right hands) continue to be met with prejudice and fear.
I am disgusted with this programme and wish I could find somewhere to complain.
A very angry staffie owner with her beautiful doggy snoring away contentedly on her lap.

I'm not a fan of the RCPCA to be honest, they never seem to help when you need them!

Re: rspca programme
Its bad when they paint a picture that only a staffy would attack a cat like that. it's a fact that any breed has the potential too attack, alot of other terrier type dogs would have decimated the cat. people often think of it as just being plain nasty when all the dog is doing is following its instint. if something small and furry is zipping about it will trigger the prey drive.

Re: rspca programme
In Australia, SBT have a bad reputation unfortunately. Although many many people own one, and the bad rep is in many countries, the RSPCA find it necessary in some way to continually over publicise 'viscous' dogs such as SBT....which is complete cr*p. I was attacked quite bad by a blue cattle dog (which is a type of sheep dog I think) and they are not known to be viscous....my Pomeranian (who has passed) attacked a cat once, its just stupidity and ignorance that I choose to ignore.

Re: rspca programme
If you can find out which production company made the program complain to them. The name should be mentioned somewhere at the end of the program.
