nanny dog comin thru

We'r away at a caravan this week an for the first time I saw why staffs r called "nanny dogs". The 3 wee kids were all sleepin on the couch an we went thru to bed with the two dogs, but Diesel didnt want to leave them! She wouldnt come thru she just wanted to curl up with the dogs, an when we finally got her thru she stood cryin at the door for ages!
It was so sweet that she just wanted to stay with them an protect them!
The two wee boys shes only seen a few times (sis inlaws kids)

Love it! They sure are great with kiddos.

Apart from the whole leavin them unsupervised with the dog...when they woke up Diesel would get excited an piddle all over them! Hahaha so instead she slept under our bed (her choice, she coulda slept in her bed)

alot of dogs are good with kids as they sence the innocence but only the staff takes it to the extreame and will positivley "nanny" a child and stand guard over it. thats kinda strange as for being a guard dog they are bad as they love everyone but when it comes to kids...dont even try it lol
