Roxy is currently on 3 meals a day, at what age should we drop her down to two?

Re: Feeding time
Darcy was 7/8 months when we switched to twice a day, it was really because she was skipping the middle meal herself so we stopped it hope this helps.

Re: Feeding time
Not too far from me. Just down the 60. When Lola was on 3 a day, she generally was fussy with the 1st meal. I fed at similar times to u, but I left it till a little later for breakfast and found this worked.

Re: Feeding time
I feed Rox when I get up for work, I may get the wife to feed her at 9am instead of 6am.
We think she is gonna be a small girl anyway, at 14 weeks she is 5.6kG, altought at 8 weeks she was 2.4 kg so her weight gain is good.

Re: Feeding time
Zeus was on 4 meals a day from 8 weeks to 12 weeks (8am, 12pm, 4pm, 8pm), then 3 meals a day from 12 weeks to around 7/8 months (8am, 2pm, 8pm) and has been on 2 meals a day since (8am & 8pm)!
However, he's now around 16 months old and doesn't eat much of his morning feed, mainly in the evening so we're doing 25% of his feed in the morning and 75% in the evening. If he still doesn't eat then it'll be 1 meal a day.

Re: Feeding time
youll most likely find that they will self regulate, just miss out the meal that they pick around. they will also eat better after excersise as the body will be telling them they need it which can be good for your schedual. there isnt really any set time that you should feed as it depends on the dog and excersise regime. my two now wont touch anything in the morning even after a walk and wait until around 1pm and then again at 8pm when i went from three to two meals a day it was the morning feed that they didnt bother with but that may not be the same for your dog. speaking with the guys we meet in he park all the dogs have diff preferances to feeding times, some like brekkie and lunch, others brekkie and dinner, others just like a single night meal.. youll just have to watch and evaluate what suits your dog best

Re: Feeding time
The general rule is 4 meals until 12 weeks, 3 meals until 6 months & then 2 meals. Some people (me included) then feed twice a day for life, others drop to one meal between 10 & 12 months or so.

Re: Feeding time
Rocky is 5 months and vet advised it is okay to drop him to 2 meals per day. Rocky does great on this way, but as said, all are different, just preference.

Re: Feeding time
You should keep her at 3 meals until she is 6 months old! Then drop down to 2 meals a day. Gwen is almost 7 months old and we just changed 2 days ago to 2 meals a day! Puppies need to eat throughout the day in order to grow and develop the right way! Gwen is picky/fussy too, so it was def a challenge some days to get her to eat all 3 meals!

Jenson has x2 a day and he's just over 5 mths .. which is his choice we used to feed 3x but he nvr bothered with it so it was just left.. he chose his early evening meal as his fave so he tends to get more then... with added extras like raw egg, sardines etc
