Very vocal when sees another dog
Hi, If my 10 month old staffie bitch is on the lead, she gets very vocal and over excited whenever she see's another dog. She barks, yelps and gives high pitched cries, pulls hard at the lease and jumps up and down and, although I know that if she is allowed to say hello she will calm down, other dog owners obviously think she is aggressive, and avoid us like the plague, which makes her even worse. Any advise on how to get her to calm down and show everybody what a lovely little girl she can be. By the way, off the lead, she is brilliant, no problems with other dogs what-so-ever!

Try getting her attention on you rather than the other dogs - offer some treats or a favourite toy.
