Foreign object in Urine
Hi guys,
nearly had a heart attack last night when Colin pee'd and there was something in it, at first from a distance I thought it was some kind of bug, but on closer inspection, it was a bit of fluff from his tennis ball. Has anyone elses pup's pee'd fluff before. I've heard of passing it through their stools. He didn't have a lot as I realised at the time that the ball I got from Petsathome was shredding too much so took it off him as he loved to just pull all the cover off. He seems fine now, keeping an eye on him and got a vet appointment booked to check him over. He was crackers last night, right up until going to bed and very nippy/naughty. Just want to make sure its not caused him any harm. Thanks

Re: Foreign object in Urine
I think it's physically impossible to pee a foreign object - (unless u have kidney stones or bladder stones )
More likely had a bit of fluff on his bits when he peed ?

haha, nope, it definately came out of him..... his ball has been confiscated for well over a week and I had made sure that every bit of it was gone.

Re: Foreign object in Urine
It's not something I've heard of either, as Jackie says its more than likely it was on his bits

Re: Foreign object in Urine
I think it was more likely stuck in the entrance to his penis & it just looked like it came from there. Physically, he couldn't have swallowed it & then pass it in his urine - it would have come out with his poo.
